Your Lagos moving checklist

STEP 1

Two weeks ahead: confirm your tenancy handover and list everything that will travel. Measure large furniture and doorways.

One week ahead: request your mover’s reviewed quote, declare fragile items and agree the services included.

STEP 3

Ask both estates about truck entry times, security approval, parking and lift rules. Share the details before moving day.

STEP 4

Label boxes by room. Keep passports, tenancy papers, medicine, jewellery and essential electronics with you.

STEP 5

Photograph appliances and furniture before collection. Review the pickup checklist and confirm the inventory.

STEP 6

At delivery, count items and record condition before signing. Keep photos and receipts, and report concerns promptly.
